 Halloween Happenings
Here are  a few pictures of Halloween around  our house.    Sean was Robin aka Dick Grayson (when not in costume), Ryan was Spiderman aka Peter Parker (when not in costume) and Brandon was a puppy... so cute!
Last weekend the kids attended a Halloween party.   On Wednesday, they carved pumpkins with Daddy.  Friday night we went to see The Wizard of Oz at the local high school.  The boys were SO excited to see it.  Despite the fact that it started 30 minutes after their bedtime and ended 3 hours later... they were engaged in it the whole time.  When the curtains would close Ryan would ask "when they going to open again Mommy?"  When the witch melted Sean said "Is she really dead Mommy?"  wait one second "Oh wait I know there's probably a trap door in the floor and she probably went down that".  Too smart for his age!  Saturday Tony took them trick or treating with friends, while I stayed home and manned the door.

Sean and Ryan and friends
I'm 7 Months Old!
Wow, where does the time go?  My baby is 7 months old and growing like a weed.  As of last week (10-26) he weighed 21 1/2 lbs!  He is now bigger than Ryan was.  My records show that Ryan was 22 lbs at 9 months!  He is such a chunk!  I wonder if that might be why he hasn't rolled yet... too much to roll!  He reminds me a lot of Sean at this early age.  Sean rolled once at 4 months and not again for what seemed like forever!   He didn't practice things a lot, rather he waited until he could just do it!  Brandon is very vocal... cooing and squealing... even the odd dadadadada.
Last week we were at the doctor, for the third time, for a cough that has persisted for over a month.  The doctor found an infection in his left ear.  After 8 days on his antibiotic he doesn't sound much better.  Looks like we'll be heading back again.  He is such a good little patient.  No fever, other than the cough you'd only know something was wrong because his daytime naps were non existent.  Nighttime was business as usual (more or less... coughing of course).   Hopefully this won't be a repeat of Ryan and the ear infection that wouldn't go away (for 6 months!)

The Pumpkin Patch
A couple of weekends ago, Sean had a birthday party to attend at the pumpkin patch.  I decided to take Ryan and my friend Tiffany brought her boys too.  They had a great time on a beautiful day.  Here are a few highlights.
Ryan was so excited to ride the pony.
Dig dig diggy and a dig dig dig do, singing my diggin' song!
(You have to know Mighty Machines to appreciate that one)
So excited, but immediately got out... no time for riding today!
Sean caught up with us for a few minutes at the track
Ryan could have spent the whole day riding this tricycle.

First Hockey of the Season
Sean and Ryan had their first IP hockey of the season yesterday.  This was also Ryan's first ever and he LOVED it.  He was so proud of himself for skating on his own (as was Mommy).  He did have the help of a walker, but got up on his own when he fell (without complaining).  Sean  got on the ice right away and picked up right where he left off last season.  It was so much fun watching the two of them.

So proud of his wet hair
Sean too.
