Snow Day Fun!
Last week we had 2 snow  days!  Unheard of around here.. school doesn't close.  Daddy came home from work early and took the boys out to play.  The boys loved it... until Sean face planted in the snow!

Haircuts, Thanksgiving, Tile Laying, Cookie Baking, Lego Building,Christmas Concerts, Snow Playing ...
Oh My!!

The last few weeks have been... what else... busy at our house.  The build up to the holidays is always hectic... and we thought we'd throw a little renovation into the mix!   We haven't been happy with the flooring we put in when we had the addition put on 4 years ago.  It was scratched and had gauges in it and the grout was awful.  Not due to wear and tear, but poor quality.   Thanks to a great deal from a friend of Tony's brother we were able to have the main floor painted too.  Consequently, our house has been in an upheaval for several weeks now.

Brandon had his first haircut a couple of weeks ago.  He looks even more handsome now.
Poor little guy has been suffering from a cough, stuffy nose and ear infections since the end of September.  We went to the ENT last Friday, just in case is is following Ryan's path.  At that point he was fine...  now... not so much.  I think we'll be back again soon.  He is so good natured though.  He doesn't cry.  Even when I go in during the night after a bout of coughing, I find him smiling!  It's hard to believe he is 8 months already.  He rolls, but no crawling (fine by me for now!) and babbles dadadada and mamamamama.  Where oh where does the time go?

Ryan is loving preschool.   He is 1 of 2 boys in his class, and he doesn't seem to mind.    Sunday was his first Christmas concert.  He wasn't sure he wanted to go, but he did great.   He belted out his songs so loud and strong.  I was very proud of him.  After we went to the Jubilee Center at the church for treats and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Then we went to Ryan's favourite Carlos O'Kelly's for dinner.  Such a wonderful evening.

Sean is doing well in grade one.  He had his concert this past Thursday.  It was also Grandma's birthday, so we took her out for dinner first.  He was so excited.   Especially about his new belt. If you look carefully in the pictures his hands are on it the whole time! He was disappointed that his tie didn't match the pants I had out.  Trying to grow up so fast.

Thanksgiving Day.  Ryan is less than thrilled about having his picture taken!
There... that's better!

Almost done:)
Looking down the hall to the family room... yes there is a fridge in there too!
Sean's Christmas Concert
Notice the hands on the belt.
Baking sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies.  Later we delivered them to Daddy's work.
Peek!
Are you STILL watching me?
Ryan's Christmas concert.  Sean took the pictures as I was feeding Brandon and Tony was videotaping.  Hopefully Grandma has some clear ones for us.  But, you get the idea.

The boys with Santa and Mrs. Claus
Today is a snow day, so we are all home (except Daddy... no snow days for him).  Brandon had as much fun watching the boys play outside as they had playing.
Are you seeing this Mommy?
The guy is here working on the hardwood in the family room today.  So, of course, Sean turned into 'Dusty' the carpenter.
