Shoemaker Field Day - May 2009
At the end of every school year Shoemaker School has field day.  Parents take time off work and bring their lawn chairs and watch as the kids run races.  It was so much fun watching Sean experience this for the first time.   First graders always run first as the kindergarten kids don't know what to do yet.  They ran a sprint followed by a partner race (holding hands).  Things are made more difficult for the older kids as the 2nd and 3rd graders run backwards for the second race and the 4th and 5th graders have a tug-of-war.  Good time was had by all.
Sean heading back to his spot on the side lines after his first race.
Sitting with his class on the sidelines (to the right of the girl in the orange shirt... sitting up on his knees).
Sean and Carson in the partner race (second team from the right).
