Ryan's 1st Baseball Game
Last week, Ryan had his first ever baseball game. He loved it! His team is called "Rich & Sons" ... sponsored by Daddy and Uncle Nick... and his coach is "Uncle Nick". He know a few of his teammates... Austin (cousin), Aidan (neighbour and fellow soon to be kindergartner) and a boy name Sam, who went to his preschool.
He seems to be catching on quickly. He has quite a good throwing arm and hits well. Despite being a lefty batter (like Uncle BJ, Mommy and Sean) he hits mainly toward 2nd and 3rd base.
Keep it up Ryan!
I'm still "playing" with my camera settings... therefore some of the pics are a tad over or under exposed... I'm getting there:)
First "at bat"
Running to 1st base as Daddy coaches from the side. Nick and Grandpa are the coach and assistant, but Daddy helps when he is needed.
Daddy (with a mouth full of sunflower seeds) directing Ryan to his next base.

Peeking out from the dugout

Sean, the self proclaimed "student assistant coach" with Grandpa
Ryan, covering first base.
Brandon, getting a little too close to the field (for my liking)... Ryan on 1st.
Ryan and cousin Austin goofing around on the bench.
Watching the game.. waiting to bat.

Nick helping Ryan get the ball on the tee.
Throwing the bat after a great hit!

Ryan, you look great playing your first baseball game. I know how well you throw and catch the ball so you must have really helped your team. Did you get some hits when you were at bat? You look like you are a fast runner as well.
Keep up the good work and have fun.

Love,

Papa Joe
