Sean & Ryan's 1st Major League Baseball Game
On July 21, Dad, Uncle Pete and I took Sean and Ryan to their very first MLB game. It was the Seattle Mariners vs Toronto Blue Jays. The weather was hot to say the least... so hot that the dome had to be closed for the afternoon game. Bottled water was handed out throughout the game too. Despite the heat, the Jays came out on top. The boys were excited to get there and soak it all in... Jays hats on their heads and gloves in their hands...just in case!
The subway ride downtown is always a highlight. Whenever possible, they like to get in the first car, to see where we are going. This time, the driver had his door open, so they were able to see how it runs.

Thanks for taking pictures Pete:)
Watching the boys warm up
See... I was really there... thanks to Pete!
Dad and the boys waiting for the game to start
Sean showing where our seats were... 27 rows behind the Jays dugout. Ryan wasn't interested in turning around for another photo
Watching intensely...glove in hand... just in case
After the game the boys were able to run the bases. Sean says it was "a lot like the bases at my games"... this was followed by a laugh:)
Rounding third and heading home
Where did Mom go???

Ryan loves seeing the GO trains, so we had to stop and watch a few come in at Union Station
