Windy Day at the Pumpkin Patch
We were supposed to go to the pumpkin patch the previous weekend with Nana and Papa Joe, but we were all tired and decided to wait until this past weekend. Saturday was gorgeous, in the 70's calm and sunny. Unfortunately, Tony had to work, so we waited until Sunday. Bright and sunny, but also cold and windy. I'm not talking breezy... I mean WINDY! Gust up to 60 miles and hour windy... my neighbour's trampoline blew into another neighbour's house windy! The kids still managed to have fun, but our time was cut short. If you look at Ryan's face in a couple of the pictures you can see he is fighting the wind.
Playing in the corn box.
Each of the boys got a turn cranking the wheel on this old machine. You put a corn cob in and it takes the corn off. They let us keep the cob... to make corn cob jelly... gave the recipe and everything... like that happened!!
Riding the train!
Hi Mom!!
Tony helping the boys get set up to slide.
Wee! This is fun! I don't care if it is cold out.
No Ryan's were injured in the taking of this picture
Oh! This is how you do it!
Yeah!
Never too old for a slide eh Daddy?
