Ryan is getting SOOOO Big!!

Yesterday (9-14-06) Ryan turned 7 months!!

At his last checkup he weighed in at a whopping 21lbs... the same as Sean at 1 year!

He's been rolling and "scooching" for a couple of months, but

look out world he's all but crawling now! He uses his knees and legs to

push himself along... if he could only figure out how to get that belly up! If

he sees something he wants he's after it until he gets it or gets distracted!

Sometimes he ends up in some odd places!

We had to stop using the carrier around the time

Sean turned 3... way to heavy to carry. Still in use when we take the truck out though.

Ryan has been suffering from acid reflux since he was about 1 month old. It has been under control on and off with medications. Over the last few weeks, things started to get bad again and our poor little guy was suffering. He cried a lot and slept with us...when he slept. He usually spent the night rolling around in discomfort or pain. We finally got him to the doctor and he is now on new medications and we're experimenting by taking wheat out of his diet. We've seen a HUGE difference. The old, happy go luckie, "good time Charlie" is back! We go for a follow up on Monday and we'll find out if he can go back on wheat. Here's hoping the progress continues and he can outgrow this. I too have been diagnosed with acid reflux and can attest to the fact that it is NO FUN AT ALL:(
