HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!
On Sunday we had a little party to celebrate Ryan's 1st birthday. Despite a lack of naps all around, things went well. A good time was had by all. Ryan's great-grandma's, Erm and Norma were here. Grandma and Grandpa brought Jake, Austin and Annika as Uncle Nick and Aunt Jeannette weren't back from their cruise (lucky ducks). Mommy and Daddy's good friends Dave and Amy came with their son (Sean and Ryan's buddy) Jack Jack.
Not to be forgotten, Sean and Jake brought their cars to play with the little ones.
Austin was trying to hang out with the big boys while they waited for cake.
Mmmm!
I couldn't believe he kept his hat on the whole time.
Ryan is continuing to do well. He is feeling sooooo much better. However, now we battle teething. The count still stands at two, but I think two more top ones are working their way in. If it isn't one thing it's another! He isn't just walking anymore, he is practically running. I realized on Monday at skating that Ryan's strides toward walking have mirrored Sean's with skating. They both took off on their own in the same week. A few days ago Ryan pulled himself to a stand in the middle of the room without help and on Monday Sean fell in the middle of the ice and pulled himself up. Amazing... to me anyway.

Thanks for the latest pictures and updates. Wish we could have been there for the big "1", but we're looking forward to seeing you all in just a few days!
So glad Ryan is feeling so much better. Lots of love from all of us.
