Ryan's Fun Day While Sean Was Away!!

Poor Ryan was more than a little lost this week, while his big brother was in South Dakota.  He was grouchy and had a hard time deciding what to do.  At night he had a hard time settling down, probably due to the fact that he was sleeping upstairs by himself... not to mention the fact that Mommy, Daddy and Brandon were all in one room.   Tuesday was rough, Wednesday he was at daycare with his friends so it was better... Thursday we had a really good time.  It started with Ryan wanting to go to the museum to feed the ducks.  Once we got there he decided that the ducks (and Canadian Geese) were bigger up close than he thought and feeding them was not such a good idea!   Since we were already there, we decided to wander over to Railroad Town where the year is 1899.   He climbed on the coaches and the caboose... he ran down the tracks (after being reminded by Mommy that this is the only place we do this!)  He went to the Mercantile and bought some marbles, we went to the farm and fed the chickens and the goats, he pumped water and pretended to drive the steam engine.
After the museum we stopped in to see Daddy at work and feed Brandon.  The four of us then headed to Subway for lunch... Ryan even ate a sub!   Home for quiet time and off to the country club for swimming with his buddies Aidan and Porter.   We followed that up with play and pizza at our house when the Daddy's returned from golfing.  To say he was tired was an understatement. He was asleep before I got down the stairs!  It was worth it to see him smile.  I don't think that smile left his face all day.  He even managed to go most of the day without asking "Mommy when it going be Friday"  or saying "Mommy, me miss Sean, he my friend."

Airplane!  I don't think it's 1899 afterall!!
Beautiful!
