Boy Defined: Nature's answer to the false belief that there is no such thing as perpetual motion.

Tuesday at the Cottage
Yesterday, despite the threat of rain, we headed to the cottage for a visit and some fun.   By the time we arrived the rain had passed and it was a beautiful sunny day.   The boys fed the ducks with Papa while Nana and I visited with Chris, Sarah, Uncle Bud, and Peter.   Unfortunately, by the time the boys were getting ready for their much anticipated seadoo rides, the rain clouds moved back in.   Refusing to remove their life jackets, they joined the rest of us in the cottage, splitting their time between watching Diego and playing the piano!   After dinner, the rain let up and off they went for their ride.  While the adults visited and enjoyed their after dinner teas, Chris played life guard as the boys splashed in the hot tub.   It is a perfect depth as they can both reach the bottom.   They were having a blast... until Mommy came out...  Ryan was running from one side to the other when he slipped.   He grabbed for the side to pull himself up when he slipped again.  Mommy then screamed (a lot) and lunged to grab him.   He was shaken, but after a snuggle with Mommy (and a chat about why we learned to blow bubbles etc) he wanted to get right back in.  I was apprehensive at first, but you know what they say about getting right back up on the horse...    As the pictures show, he did get back in with a life jacket!    He wasn't happy about not being able to get his body in, but Mommy felt much safer.  After swimming it was off to the Wasaga Dairy for an ice cream cone and a walk.  Such a fun day!

Looks like you guys are having a blast! Jack misses his play dates with Sean and Ryan and his mommy misses the adult conversation! Can't wait to see you guys when you get back!
