Severe Weather
Some severe storms passed through our area tonight.   We were lucky and didn't have to duck and cover.   Although the boys had some fun hanging out under the stairs, just in case.   Don't be fooled they weren't sleeping... heck they aren't even sleeping now.  Okay, almost.  It is quite the task trying to settle little ones down when storm like this go through.  They know something is up, weather alerts going off every 5 minutes... mommy and daddy shushing them so they can hear the alerts... a flurry of activity gathering things to take to the basement.   The town west of here, where Sean plays hockey was hit quite badly tonight and a couple of touchdowns were reported here.   Fortunately, we were not involved.  No wind damage or hail here.  All is well in Staabville... now if only the kiddies would GO TO SLEEP!!!

Glad to hear that you are all safe. We watched CNN all evening for updates on the NE weather, and were happy not to hear 'Grand Island' mentioned! It certainly must be an experience, especially with two youngsters! Don't envy you.
Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Lots of love from Paul, Shirley, Stephen and Megan

What good boys you are to stay quietly in your safe place waiting to see what the storm would do. And you Sean are being a good big brother setting an example for Ryan. We are very thankful that everyone in Grand Island is safe especially you guys.
I hope this doesn't happen to often.
